In the office this week we are loving this graphic novel that Bacardi has launched as part of their current global campaign ‘Bacardi Untameable Since 1862.’
The novel has been written by Warren Ellis and looks to primarily focus on the life of Emilio Bacardí and his struggles for independence in a late nineteenth century Cuba. Other than the eloquently written content Michael Allread’s illustrations are brilliant.
We were also fascinated to find out that drops of Barcadi Gold rum have been added to the ink, a touch that we feel finalises the crafted and contagious appeal of this brand communication piece.

Another thing that hits this weeks list when it comes to visual inspiration are these brilliant posters that have been created for this years Fringe.
The posters have been created by various Scottish school kids as part of the ‘School’s Poster Competition.’ This year there were over 100,000 applications and I am sure that you will agree when we say that some of their work is really quite something and definitely deserves some celebration.
