When the new Park Regis Hotel commissioned Des McDonald Associates to create an izakaya-style Japanese restaurant in their air space, iDC were called upon to assist with developing the brand assets for Birmingham’s tallest new eatery. Rofuto required a premium feeling menu with the flexibility to change the menu for different seasons. iDC suggested a bespoke, hard wearing bamboo and leather edged outer menu with a short run digitally printed inner menu that could be updated quickly and inexpensively. The client loved the idea and the menus really looked the business in their contemporary setting. Japanese art themed coasters, were next on the agenda, followed by receipt wallets, business cards and html email marketing.
